On this day in music history: February 14, 1972 – John Lennon and Yoko Ono co-host The Mike Douglas Show for an entire week. Besides being interviewed by Douglas, they feature a wide variety of guests during the shows that includes Chuck Berry, George Carlin, Ralph Nader, Bobby Seale, Jerry Rubin, Louis Nye, and The Chambers Brothers. The couple discuss their lives together, their political beliefs and activism and the break up of The Beatles. The historic programs are released on home video as a five volume VHS tape box set by Rhino Entertainment in 1998.
